Ethical Veganism & Cats

You have to balance out so it's up to each of us to answer these questions.

 

My son the Vegan said one should not choose to have a cat as a pet if one

is ethically Vegan unless one lives on a farm or some place where a cat

can find its own meat. That way you're saving the cat, not supporting the

evil meat packers, and not interfering with the cat's true nature.

 

Very Taoist and ethically tolerant answer I thought.

very. i agree 100%, especially if you live in a place where you know

no one is putting rat poison out.

 

unfortunately, there aren't quite as many farms as there are homeless
