Yep, Gorillas *are* completely vegetarian. Unfortunately, though, humans' closest genetic cousins are Chimpanzees (with something like a 98.6% to 99.4% similarity in DNA), which are NOT vegetarian. Kind of tells us something about our origins as the human race, eh? Fortunately, we can make the conscious choice to become vegetarians and have some concept about how our choices impact our health and environment. > one other funny thing, I notice alot of you ladies have meat eating husbands or boyfriends that you would rather go vegi... *groan* So true. Even a hoax on Christmas Eve, that the turkey my husband bought at Safeway may have been injected with arsenic by an animal-rights group (an act I do NOT condone, BTW), *STILL* did not keep him from cooking and eating the darn thing!! Oh well, as long as he doesn't do it too often so he keeps his arsenic levels low... > and whats funny is alot of ladies I talk to on the net are trying to talk me into eating dead animals again. Beware of any woman who wants to change you, Dave! Been there, mostly failed at that (hence, the toxic turkey)...lol Happy Kwaanza, Everyone! ~Kathy
