Guest guest
As many of you all know (and some of you don't because I just joined some of the lists I'm mailing to, but wanted to share this message anyway), I'm pagan by religion. But I still celebrate many of the old traditions of my youth, and that includes Christmas. I view Christmas as a time spent with beloved family members, wrapped in a cocoon of warmth and loving and family and tradition (and don't forget the presents! *hehehe*) I view Christmas as a time in history when a great philosopher, Jesus Christ, was born. Jesus had many great things to teach all our peoples, no matter the religion. And that precious message crosses all our cultures. Jesus was Jewish by birth and heritage, yet he is hailed as the Messiah by Christians. I think there is something to be learned from that, no matter the race, ethnicity, or religion. With that in mind, may I wish you all, a blessed Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and belated Yule to all you and yours who celebrate this festive and blessed time of year and New Beginnings.
