Double Chocolate Layer Cheesecake

 

2 (8 oz) pkgs cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla

2 eggs

3 squares (1 oz each) semi-sweet chocolate, melted, slightly cooled

1 (9-inch) chocolate crumb crust

 

Preheat oven to 350. In bowl, beat together first 3 ingredients, with

mixer on MEDIUM, until well blended. Add eggs, mix until blended. Stir

melted chocolate into 1 cup batter. Pour chocolate batter into crust.

Top with remaining plain batter. Bake for 40 minutes, or until center is

almost set. Cool. Chill for 3 hours.
