Guest guest
i just LOVE this time of year!! i don't align with any religion, but i LOVE holidays. especially ones with gifts, fun decorations, and good food. i'm such a holiday cornball. i've got my holiday tree up, and, of course, all my holiday special videos lined up for viewing (charlie brown, 'twas the night before christmas, a christmas story, the grinch, rudolph, frosty, etc, etc, etc... got to set up a viewing day!!!). so, i'm having my annual chanukwanzaamas/client appreciation par-tay again, and i'm busy trying to figure out what to make. there will be anywhere from 15-35 people there. so far, i've been thinking about the following (all vegan, served buffet-style): -tofurkey (all my clients want to try it ) -crackers with cheeze spread and veggie pepperoni slices -noodle kugel -spanokopita -potato pancakes (maybe-- do they work well at a buffet without a hot plate?) -bi-coloured shepherd's pie (although i did make one last year) -gingerbread cookies -raspberry tarts any other suggestions? anyone else having this sort of shindig? happy holidays! melody http://www.melodysmusic.net
