Well said. > There are no amino acids in meat that cannot be found in vegetable > sources, Certainly if one refuses to eat many legumes, rice, or > other vegetable protein sources one will feel like crap without > eating meat. This does not in anyway make meat essential. Yes again! I recently quit a list out of complete frustration b/c some bloke kept insisting upon this myth that meat is the only source of complete amino acid; he kept stating that no way vegans could be healthy without special suppliments and a lacto-ovo would be lucky to stay healthy for long. This myth needs squashed. TOFU! That is a perfect source of all of the essential amino acids and it is vegan. ~ feral ~ I have never grown out of the infantile belief that the universe was made for me to suck. ~Aleister Crowley (1875- 1947)
Guest guest
right right.. and even if you can manage to convince meat-eaters that tofu is an excellent vegan source of protein then they will insist it all tofu and soy products are horrible (because they tried plain, raw tofu once). > > Yes again!
