Guest guest
> > So... with all that rambling.... what blood type are you? What a fun game - but I hope only a game ;=) This has come up before, but perhaps it was another list ;=) I tend to take this kind of determinism with a grain of salt (to coin a phrase). Although it might be true that certain peoples of the world (and sometimes sharing the same blood group) are intolerant to certain foods - lactose intolerance is the only one which actually comes to mind right now - I have a hard time thinking that it is useful to suggest people's preference (or dislike) for meat is decided, as it were, by their blood group. Protein, my dears, is protein. There is a good whack of protein in an egg, for example, and in soybeans and nuts. This theory might have some advantages for vegetarians, however: if one is of the meat-eating group (Type B, is it?) one can brag about how it was sooo difficult to give up meat but argue along the If I Can Do It So Can You line. Frankly, I'd expect to be laughed out of court *lol* We've all come a long way from thinking our intelligence, talents, preferences, etc., are determined by skin colour - I'd be sad to think that blood replaced skin in this way. But of course I haven't read the book ;=) And I am type O, my dh type A.
