Guest guest
i think the msf chik patties with homemade cream gravy would be an excellent alternative to the gardenburger mess. when i make white gravy...i just melt 2 T. butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. stir in 2 T. white flour to make a rue (for lack of a better word). then i gradually add in 1 cup of milk and stir and let cook until it reaches the consistency i like. season with salt and pepper, to taste. you can adjust to make desired amount...it's just 1 T. butter and 1 T. flour for each 1/2 cup of milk. i've made this gravy with soy milk too...turned out fine. if you add shredded cheese, it makes a wonderful cheese sauce for mac & cheese, or cauliflower & broccoli. susie --- ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: > Thanks for posting this.
