I noticed the above awhile back and have since been curious about the seitan pastrami recipe/season/experiment. Was it a brand of seitan pastrami or did you make homemade seitan into a pastrami Flavored substitute...what was the recipe? If you get a minute or two, I'd like to hear what that was all about. Megan (SOMETHING) BARLEY SALAD 2 cups cooked barley 1 medium yellow squash (zucchini-type), chopped 2 roma tomatoes, chopped 1-1/2 teaspoons sesame oil 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar 2 t. to 1 T of Whole Foods Toronto Steak & Chicken Rub (*) Mix together cooked barley, chopped squash & tomatoes & rub seasoning in a bowl. In a small cup, whisk together sesame oil and balsamic vinegar & pour over the salad. Mix thorougly. The ingredients list in the Rub says " black pepper, (granulated) garlic, sea salt, dill (seed), coriander, and chili peppers (chili flakes most likely).
