Hi all,

I somehow ended up on a mailing list for Lush Cosmetics, an all

vegetarian (half vegan) shop. While I have not tried any of their

items, they seem to be very precise about being natural, vegetarian,

anti-animal testing, etc. Find them online at www.lush.com. Maybe

for the holidays...?

Since I make a lot of my cosmetics, I find Lush very expensive. I also thought

they used perfume oils rather than essential oils.

My friend swears by Yves Rocher. which I think is vegan. Their website is at:

.... Or you could not give in to the unrealistic beauty standards

created by patriarchal western societies and perpetuated by the

corporate run media to keep women preoccupied with their appearance

and thus oblivious to their own oppression...

ok, I'm half kidding. At least if you buy these products it will make

them more popular and increase the chances that they become available

in Bed, Bath, and Beyond and supermarkets. I don't there are too

many meatheads out there that actually go out of their way to make

sure that their cosmetics have been tested on animals. People assume

that if a product was unsafe it would be taken off the shelves (see

also: meat)
