I haven't been sick in awhile, but I have actually asked the doctor before to prescribe pills that do not use gelatin. When I first became vegetarian, I still ate Jello. I knew what it was made from, but I think I was in denial and since it wasn't bloody it didn't bother me. Of course, when we made Jello-shots in college, I was too intoxicated to care!!!!!
