Vegetarian Thanksgiving Success!

Everything went smoothly and all the food turned out great. The best

thing was the dressing. Since becoming vegetarian years ago, I could

no longer eat the dressing. This year I adapted my Mom's recipe to

make it vegetarian. Yummy!!

We'll definitely be having it this Xmas as well.

Below was our Thanksgiving menu:

 

Turkee

Dressing

Squash Casserole

Lori's Duchess Sweet Potatoes

Mustard & Collard Greens

White Corn

Carrots

Green Beans

Pickled Peaches

Chocolate Eclairs - how traditional

too much wine

Sounds like you had lots of fun.

 

On our way out to the Thanksgiving feast in the mountains,

we drove by a lovely field and in it was a huge tom turkey;

he was beautiful. I said aloud to those in the car, " See that?

Now that is the best sort of Thanksgiving turkey; beautifully

alive and in the wild. Seeing him makes me feel good I no

longer eat them. "
