Guest guest
I forgot to tell what I had for dinner today (well, late lunch) I had " Svensk Pølseret " and I have NO clue of what you call it in English. Actually, directly translated into english it means: Swedish sausagedish or something like that. But that sounds really silly. I like don't know how much of stuff I put into it, I dont have a scale. But it was something like: 10 potatoes (meidum size i guess) 2 onions 4 fake sausages (soy stuff from danish producers Nutana) Ketchup Salt'n'pepper You cut the potatoes into squares and boil them until tender, then you like... uh.. make them cold under running water. Then you fry the onions in a pot, then put in the sasuages (which you've cut into 1 cm pieces) and when they've fried a bit with the onions you add the potatoes, stir and then some ketchup (quite a bit) and then stir...and that's it!! This is like the real cheap, fat free version of it. If I had the money I would have bought like a herb. I can't remember the english word for it, it's right on the tip of my tounge though. I'll try to describe it: It kind of looks like grass, but it's thicker. The taste reminds of onion. When it blooms it gets a purple flower. In Danish we call it Purløg. Anyway, if you know what it is then you cut it and sprinkle it on the ready dish. This is yum. Now i have to get back to my project ta ta for now Pernille ===== I have a new e-mail address now, please update your address book with verdensdejligste " What are you afraid of? Guest guest
The dish you describe sounds a bit like the traditional " sausage and mash " , and the herb you describe... is it chives? Nice to have you with us, Pernille. ~ PT ~ The discovery of what is true, and the practice of that which is good, are the two most important objects of philosophy. ~ Voltaire ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~> , Pernille Pedersen <uma181> wrote: But it was something like: > 10 potatoes (meidum size i guess) > 2 onions > 4 fake sausages (soy stuff from danish producers > Nutana) > Ketchup > Salt'n'pepper > > You cut the potatoes into squares and boil them until > tender, then you like... uh.. make them cold under > running water.
