This lady came up with a countertop appliance that boiled, mashed and mixed the potatoes. I only watched a few minutes of it...perhaps it skinned them as well..not sure. I would assume that it could do the same for other veggies...It's the holiday helper tater maker, lol. Portable, handy, light....use it in the pot you're cooking in. Great for them Taters PT and Megan! Easy taters, refried beans, vichysouisse*, chili (chops up them stewed tamaters)...Ive used that sucker bunches. It would be nice if they had some sort of safety cap on the trigger though on mine...maybe even a stand. They tip easily and one can get distracted with that in hand....but especially for those with kids and their reaching arms. nadiana1@a... wrote: >no matter what, i would definitely have this person increase his/her >activity level. imho, it really doesn't matter if one is climbing a mountain or taking a 30 minute walk in the park, just as long as it is a consistent activity. Guest guest
What!? Sheesh! Beef fat in a can of chocolate frosting!? That has got to be the most disgusting thing I have heard in a while, but I sure do believe it. *lol* Thanks for the heads-up on that one and another reminder for how careful we have to read, read, and re- read those labels. I have found that some products will change ingredients on the sly, so even items we thought were once safe might need us to check them again. ~ feral ~ Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish. - Euripides ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~~~~> , " _- matrixenos -_ " <matrixenos@h...> wrote: > Hey peeps, watch out for the ingredients in the jelly beans and frosting. Thanks for http://www.amys.com/ look up " veggie burgers " These are good and they have a barbecue sauce flavor. They are the same price as other burgers! Amy's is an awesome company too. They donated a bunch of burgers to our Vegetarian club when I lived in Kansas City. I support them as much as I can!!

I personally only pan fry the mix....however I form them into patties instead of balls so that the surface area meets the pan more...kinda cook them like lil mini vege-burgs. I really like the boxed mix, however remember that you can mix in some of your own ingr. and seasonings...red pepper flakes, minced garlic, onion powder or freshly chopped along with some fresh herbs...good stuff. I think I had a " shephards pie " from that brand once, years ago....I call the entrees the " rich boy brand " . I'll have to look for the patties... Sounds like they are a pretty cool brand...yall get free food and they get free (well shipping) advertising. Thanks for the info. S. _______________ Groove on the latest from the hot new rock groups!
