For decades the right wing conservative movement has demonized vegetarian lifestyles, making liberal into a pejorative when it should be a term of pride. Many of these creeps equate eating meat with sticking it to those dirty unAmerikan hippies they' d so like to exterminate in their wars and gas-chambers. This is simply the truth of it for many, sheer bigotry.
