Guest guest
http://lists.ibiblio.org/pipermail/market-farming/2000-February/001071.html Just happened to run across that old post (otro board) looking for the email addy. Perhaps you could help " Stay Cool " Dave with putting together the letter! Just a thought. ~ S. , " Sheryl " <ssarndt> wrote: > > Hey, while you're at it......let them know that we would also > appreciate their discontinuing the use of genetically modified foods > in their products too!!!!! > >
Guest guest
My understanding of what Frito-Lay is doing is that they have discontinued buying corn and potatoes that have been produced using biotechnology, but that they still buy their oils on the open market and they cannot guarantee that the oils used to fry the chips is non- GMO. Thus, they are not advertising that their products are GMO- free. I have written a few letters to Frito-Lay. Unfortunately for purposes of drafting a letter, I have been very simple, short and to the point and simply said to them " please stop using GMO foods in your products " and not much more. I'm probably not the best person to help draft a general letter. I get all of mine from the Campaign to label GMO foods: www.thecampaign.com , " matrixenos " <matrixenos@h...> wrote: > http://lists.ibiblio.org/pipermail/market-farming/2000- February/001071.html > > Just happened to run across that old post (otro board) looking for the > email addy.
