Guest guest
Yeah! I remember reading that over on QV2. How aweful and very disapponting. If you still have the box, I would write the customer service address (usually listed on packaged items) and tell them how it made you feel. It is upsetting and they should be made aware of how deceitful it is to label a their product as vegetarian and then sneak in fish in the ingredients. *blech* I am not sure if Sir Paul even owns the company anymore, but I don't think he would be too pleased to know that the legacy of his late wife might be tainted even a little bit by such a marketing faux pas. Both she and he were so vocal about animal rights during her life. Linda especially did much to educate and increase awareness of vegetarian living, making it less mysterious and more mainstream. She did it all in such a gracious, encouraging way that I don't know any vegetarians or meateaters that haven't enjoyed her cookbooks when they've read through them. ~ pt ~ I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude. ~Henry David Thoreau, naturalist and author (1817-1862) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~~~~~> , DarinSuzyGates@a... wrote: > I shared this on another board but when I bought Linda McCartney's Vegetarian > Chicken Meal at Wild Oats....it had anchovies in it, which of course is fish. > Obviously from what is written below if Linda was alive she wouldn't have > let that happen.
