Guest guest Posted October 16, 2003 Report Share Posted October 16, 2003 I was trolling vegsource.com's recipe board, hoping to find a recipe for vegan croissants and found this little gem for homemade honey. :-) Megan Homemade Honey 3 cups water 10 cups sugar 1 tsp alum 3 cups clover blossoms (no green parts) 2 & 1/2 cups other flower blossoms (no green parts) Boil water, sugar and alum for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Rinse blossoms in a strainer, and drain well. Stir in blossoms. Steep for 3 hours. Remove flowers. Strain through cheesecloth, if necessary.
