Guest guest
This isa really good treat even if it is colder now outside.I have used partially thawed strawberries with good result, so if you can't find any good fresh ones in your market, don't despair. For the garnish simply place a nicely shaped whole frozen strawberrry afloat in the bevvie. Mmmmm Iced Strawberry Tea 1 pint fresh or frozen strawberries (thawed if frozen) 4 cups cold tea 1/3 cup sugar 1/4 cup lemon juice Set aside five whole fresh strawberries for a garnish. Cover and puree the rest in a blender; strain into a pitcher. Stir in tea, sugar and lemon juice until sugar dissolves. Chill. Serve over ice; garnish with berries. ~ PT ~ I come into the peace of wild things who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. I come into the presence of still water. And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light. For a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free. ~ Wendell Berry
