Guest guest
Oooooh yeah, a recipe on a recipe list. *lol* Here is one I tried recently that I liked. Of course I tinkered with one I found in a cookbook; had to add garlic and adjust it a tad. This is really good if you are one who likes a broccoli cauliflower salad without the sweetness that they usually have. I sprinkled some Bacos (fakey bacon-soy bits) on my individual serving. Oh, and while eating it I thought to myself that if you didn't have minced fresh garlic handy you could get away with using garlic powder. Dilly Broccoli Salad 2 lbs broccoli, cut into florets 1 1/2 lbs. cauliflower, cut into florets 1 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup sour cream 2 cloves minced garlic 1 small onion, finely chopped 1 Tbs snipped fresh dill or 1 1/2 tsp dill weed 1/2 tsp salt In a large bowl, combine the broccoli and cauliflower; set aside. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic, onion and salt; mix well. Pour over vegetables and toss to coat. Cover and chill 4 hours or overnight for best flavor. ~ PT ~ In art and dream may you proceed with abandon.
