Guest guest Posted August 18, 2002 Report Share Posted August 18, 2002 At home we make a nice humus, my husband is lebanese descend, and the recipie is here Important: please don't use canned chickpease but fresh ones ,soaked overnight 1 cup boiled chickpease, 1/2 cup tahin (best if whole grain raw and brown, not the white one, they removed the shell of the sesame in the white one, it looses a lot) parseley or silanter, garlic one slice (optional)cummin seed powdered 1tbsp 1/2 cup lemon juice 1/2 cup virgin olive oil 4 tsp. hot water Blend, by hand in a special cup with a wood stock blender (similar to japanese suribachi, used by macrobiotics) Eat with flat bread YUUUUUUMMMMMMMM Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
