Peter,

Don;t feel bad, our graffiti artists have run out of room underground

and have surfaced to the top quite a long time ago. But that is one

thing I do not remember seeing in London. We have it on bridges,

garages, houses, buildings.... all depends where ya go.

And yes, one way street for the cabbie!

The media may be so, but when I was there it seemed as if inter-

racial couples were accepted, any color/ethnicity/creed etc was

treated just the same whereever you went. That was really nice and

refreshing.

About the same as the UK - some areas don't get any graffiti, others are

covered in it!

At least he wasn't just being awkward then!

I guess this must also depend on which part of the country you're in. I

think, generally, London itself is OK. Some other places are OK - the BNP

(British National Party - or Nazis) were pretty much kicked out of

Glastonbury by the local populus! But then in other places, there's a really

worrying upsurge in racism - places like Bradford and Oldham have just

recently elected some BNP members to the local councils! Mind you, it really

isn't helped by stupid groups like the Anti-Nazi League who are almost as

bad :-(

Anyway, that's enough depressing political stuff - Fraggle, say something

silly to cheer us up....
