In such cases, MDs recommend no whole grains, and limited intake of fruits and vegetables. Maybe tofu, nut betters, and seitan are ok for such diets, and maybe veg*ns have low incidence of such diseases compared to omnivores. But I would like to hear from someone in the know before I would say that to someone, or to the public.
