Guest guest
at New Panang Garden (mixed Singapore Malaysian) 278 Barber Lane Milpitas 95035 408 922 6833 http://www.yelp.com/biz/new-penang-garden-milpitas they changed ownership/management and the review said it's not as good *shrug* but every restaurant has so good and some bad dishes same Mall as Loving Hut restaurant close to, McCarthy Mall otherside of Walmart Mall == This is one of the BEST curries I've ever had. I saw a LOT of Indian (some of veg folks) eating at this establishment. Indian folks like spicy curry. They dont' seem to like " bland " Loving Hut. I went here, cause Loving Hut closes from 3-5:30pm on weekends. == here's how you make this dish vegan 1. ask for no meat, you get tofu puff, they claim NO chicken broth or fish paste, I made the waitress ask the Chef, but keep asking them about the soup. They should of known about it. I'm sure I'm not the first person that asked. 2. sub the egg noodles with rice noodles (fresh wide noodles or thin rice noodles) 3. tell them how spicy you want it, if you don't say anything, yes, it's spicy 4. if you don't like it too spicy, also tell them to go easy on the chili oil, expect some floating on your soup if you get too much (any spec is too much) just skim it off the top this is a soupy curry noodle dish, $8.50 they are huge portions with string beans , egg plant, and tofu puff I figured out why they don't make smaller portions, They want you to eat more. bring your own takeout containers, save the soup. You can add more noodles for another meal. The curry, is the same DIPPY sauce for their best selling #1 Roti, $2.95 bread, which is not worth it. Curry Clay pot $10.95 and house fried rice $8.75 is good . I chatted with the veg Indian folks next to me. If you want to know who's veg,,, just walk around the tables and see what everyone is ordering. == they have over 32 veg items on their menu and claim that most dishes can be made veg. They have to get their act together so they won't upset their Indian Hindu veg customers. more than l/2 of the customers were Asian Indians, I was super surprised about that. So, this is one place you can go with your meat eating co-workers/boss and relatives.... those are the people you can't blow off. If you hear of any good restaurants in this area, pls post. Perry's farm in Fremont closed, that's my favorite place to go can some pls forward this email to Ed Yadda? he's from SF but he loves this dish when it was served in now closed Hulu house-veg Singapore restaurant == Signature: Seeking Spanish Speaking and AT & T friends and family friends === I won a raffle for 5 day stay at: <http://www.lagunalodgeatitlan.com/lodge-en.html> http://www.lagunalodgeatitlan.com/lodge-en.html Antibacterial soap are harmfull http://climate.weather.com/articles/dcantibacterialsoap2009.html?from=pif_lo callinker_undeclared -- This is why high blood pressure and diabeties are so common in America; and it's getting worse! http://www.shakeshacknyc.com/ Click on Web Cam from 9am till 6pm Pacific time (11am to 9pm NY Time) Approximately, 40 people will line up for Burgers.
