Guest guest
Each month, we hold a local protest in support of the international campaign against McDonald's cruelty ( http://www.mccruelty.com/why.aspx ), normally on the first Saturday of the month. See below for details -- and note that both the location and the time are changed from what they were last month. Everyone is welcome to join in; no experience is necessary. -- Mike ______ Bill [slummingangel] Wednesday, November 4, 2009 1:49 PM activistsforanimals [ActivistsForAnimals] McDonald's Rally this Saturday at 1PM For November, our monthly protest returns to the neighborhood that loves us most - and to the McDonald's that thought they could scare us by calling the cops. Since our protest is legal, we don't fear police. We do, however, fear cold weather, so now that the summer has ended, we resume our 1:00 start time. Come join us. When: Saturday, November 7th 1-2 PM Where: McDonald's 1869 Camden Ave. (corner of Leigh Ave.) San Jose, CA 95124 Ryan will bring signs and fliers. You bring your energy and all the friends you like. Note for Newbies: Don't panic if no one's there at exactly noon. We sometimes start a few minutes late. -Bill
