Please join us for a protest against McDonald's to urge the company to

stop breaking chickens' wings and legs, scalding them to death in

de-feathering tanks, and abusing them in other heinous ways and to

instead switch to a process called " controlled-atmosphere killing, " or

CAK. http://www.McCruelty.com,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controlled_Atmosphere_Killing

What: McDonald's Protest

When: Saturday, July 4, 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.

Where: McDonald's, 1869 Camden Avenue (corner of Leigh Ave.), San Jose,

CA 95124

Volunteers are needed to hold signs and pass out leaflets, all of which

will be provided -- all you have to bring is yourself!

As the largest seller of chicken meat in the U.S., McDonald's has the

responsibility -- and the ability -- to reduce this abuse by demanding

that its suppliers use a less cruel method of slaughter. Please

cross-post this e-mail message and forward it to others who might be

interested. For more information and to learn what you can do to help,

visit http://www.McCruelty.com

This is a monthly protest normally held on the first Saturday of each

month. The location will vary over the next few months.
