I used to support a different animal welfare corporation, despite their

use of sexist stereotypes, justifying it to myself by thinking of the

purported good they were doing for non-human animals. At some point, I

realized that I wouldn't be part of a group in any other context that

tolerated (much less promoted) sexism, so why was I doing so here?
