Danny reports new vegan items on menus at eating places on the Stanford campus (see below). -- Mike Danny Elstein [delstein] Tuesday, April 07, 2009 3:05 PM animalrights Good news for vegetarians at Stanford: Axe & Palm daily vegan special Hey everyone, It seems The Axe & Palm at Old Union has a new vegan special every day now in addition to their previous offerings. See the sign on top of the cash register. Today's is polenta cakes with marinara sauce, sundried tomatoes, and basil. It's soooo good!! Plus, Fraiche at Tressider just started serving chocolate vegan frozen yogurt along with vanilla, after Yasmine simply asked. Apparently students asking for more veg options is all it takes so anywhere you think vegetarian/vegan options on campus are lacking please ask them for more, it works!
