Hi All,

Someone just emailed me to urge me get the word out (message below)

about 200 rabbits on the Central Coast (near San Luis Obispo) that are

in need of rescue.

If you know of someone who lives near there who might like to adopt

some or even one of these rabbits or knows someone who could help,

please forward this message to them.

MESSAGE:

There is a rabbitry that is shutting down due to the death of the

owner and the family is not interested in keeping the business going.

Long story short, there are over 200 rabbits that need either

temporary foster homes or permanent homes in order to keep the family

from destroying them all. I am working directly with the family and

they have agreed to give me some minimal time to resolve the demise of

these rabbits.

If you know of anyone; 4-H, FFA, friends, family, pet stores, etc.

that might be able to take some of these bunnies either in a permanent

way or foster home, plz LMK or have them get in touch with me. I am

running an ad in Easy Ad for them as well and can/will continue to do

so after any foster homes are established in order to get them placed.

Santa Ynez Valley Humane does spay/neuter of rabbits at a very

reasonable rate for anyone that would be interested in that procedure.

Any and all help is much appreciated. Time is of the essence . . .

Thanx!

Di
