Because KFC prefers cruel, unethical treatment of the chickens they raise and slaughter. If done to dogs or cats, KFC would be facing felony animal abuse charges. The fear and pain that goes into a KFC bucket is unconscionable, yet KFC refuses to implement PETA's recommendations that would stop much of the suffering.
