Guest guest
As a transplant from the North Bay to Santa Clara, I can sympathize with Nick because it amplifies the fact that terrific culture exists in the North Bay but is still struggling in the San Jose area. I enjoy the North Bay posts. Some of us still make the long commute to the great events in Oakland/Berkeley/S.F., but I would hope that someday Phillip and others could work from a middle-point like Palo Alto/MenloPark or Fremont/Hayward. In the meantime, I hope the N.Bay posts will encourage us to develop more culture down here. The San Jose UU Church is a cultural disappointment to me personally, but Palo Alto UU and Los Gatos UU seem to be possible furtile ground for sponsors of veggie events. That's my 2 cents. - Terry --- On Tue, 12/16/08, Philip Gelb <phil wrote: i have many people come to my cooking classes and dinner/concerts from the south bay.
