Delicious Living put that label on, not me. That's something their editorial department did, so you should email DL directly. As for the honey, you can substitute agave nectar if you'd like a vegan version of the spread. I hope you enjoy the recipe, Laurie Gauguin ____________ Sage, Mike Wednesday, November 05, 2008 6:25 PM 'ladleandwhisk' Cc: 'mksage' Dish incorrectly labeled " vegan " in your " Vegetarian Thanksgiving menu " article TO: Laurie Gauguin Laurie: In your article that I referred to below, the Pumpkin Seed Spread recipe is incorrectly labeled " vegan " (the recipe calls for honey). As you may know, honey is an animal product and is not an ingredient of vegan food. -- Mike Sage ____________ Sage, Mike Wednesday, November 05, 2008 6:16 PM ' ' Cc: 'Sage, Nathan (gmail)'; 'Sage, Nathan (Ranpak)'; 'isaiah.sage' " Vegetarian Thanksgiving menu " in free mag at Whole Foods " deliciousliving " is a free magazine that they have at the checkstands at Whole Foods.
