June 19th: Vegan potluck and improv class

Friends in the Bay Area,

 

The next Vegans for Action meeting will be on Saturday, July 19th at 5:30 pm in

downtown Oakland. We will share a vegan potluck dinner at 5:30 pm, followed by a

special vegan-themed improv class taught by one of our members who is a

long-time student of improvisational acting. Improv-style training can help us

keep a positive attitude, connect with people and reduce anxiety when speaking

with others about veganism. And it's a lot of fun! So please join us for this

We will also be having a group dinner this coming Wednesday, June 2nd at Souley

Vegan, the fabulous new soul food restaurant in downtown Oakland. Full details

We strongly believe veganism should be accessible to all. African Americans,

Latinas/Latinos, Native Americans, Asians, Asian Americans and all those who

also make up our vibrant community are invited and welcome to all events.
