Guest guest
It's so exciting how the anti-KFC Cruelty protests in Canada achieved such a great victory for the chickens over KFC Canada (http://www.peta.org/mc/NewsItem.asp?id=11484). We are well on our way toward accomplishing that in the U.S.A., too! See the details below, for Saturday's demonstration. Hope everybody comes! -------------- Original message -------------- HollyL Wednesday, June 4, 2008 8:12 AM KFC Demonstration on June 7 June marks the beginning of the summer season, and activists in your area are proving that a warm heart will outshine KFC's cruelty to chickens by holding a peaceful demonstration on Saturday, June 7th. Please join them in encouraging your community to boycott a company that tortures roughly 1 billion animals each year in ways that would warrant felony cruelty charges if cats or dogs were the victims. Where: KFC, 250 North Bascom Ave. (corner of N. Bascom and Naglee), San Jose. When: Saturday, June 7, 12 noon - 2 p.m. What to bring: Just yourself and friends and family -- Carol will have all the posters and leaflets you need. To RSVP for the demonstration, please e-mail your local first Saturday demonstration organizer, Carol, at auntymama Please feel free to call me at 757-622-PETA, extension 8313, if you have any questions about the campaign, or visit http://KentuckyFriedCruelty.com for more information.
