About the hens

Someone from another veg group misread this post to mean that it was

for a feedstore selling hens for profit. It is not! Someone who sold

eggs at farmers markets is getting rid of all of their chickens, I

believe because the farm manager is moving, and here is your

opportunity to save them from a possibly horrendous fate. Consider the

$10 an adoption fee, please.

 

Most people who sell at farmers markets sell their hens as stewing

hens at some point, so this is a far more humane arrangement.
