Guest guest
Friends, Last school year, I traveled the country leafleting as part of Vegan Outreach’s Adopt A College program ( http://veganhealth.org/colleges ). Together, a few staff members and over a hundred volunteers handed out literature about factory farming and veganism to over 650,000 students across North America. This school year, I am excited to be back leafleting locally again in my home, the Bay Area. The Bay Area is the easiest place in the country to be vegan, so why aren’t there more vegans? Wouldn’t it be great if more people made the choice to denounce oppression and go vegan? Ten billion farm animals die every year in this country and the Bay Area contributes hundreds of millions to that total. With so many caring people on this email list, I think we could help make the Bay Area the first place in the country where a majority of the population is vegan. In the next few weeks, I will be leafleting at colleges in Berkeley, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose and Santa Rosa. Let’s work together! I usually leaflet from 10 am to 2 pm and you can join me for any amount of time. Even one hour of leafleting at a busy school can result in several new vegans, translating to thousands of animals’ lives saved. I’ll provide all the materials and support you need; all you need to do is show up ready to show the world how great it is to be vegan! People all over the country are engaging in this important work. Some leaflet during lunch breaks, some after work, some take time off to leaflet. Some leaflet once a semester, some once a month, some once a week. Leafleting can fit into nearly everyone’s schedule! Email me for more information, including the exact dates and times. If the cities I mentioned are too far away, I can tell you when I will be in your town. Together, we can effect great change right here where we live.
