IMC Singles Event

 

 

 

Saturday, Feb. 24th 2007

 

Come join us for a fun-filled evening of interactive games and finger-food

potluck! It’s a great chance to meet an exciting and interesting group of

singles with similar interests! In the past, this annual mixer has had the

largest attendance of all our Dharma Friends events.

 

 

Registration for women is outpacing that for men, with 50

women having expressed interest in the event, but only

about 15 men. To ensure reasonable gender balance, we

have had to stop registering women and have started a

waiting list (but women who register with a man will

continue to be registered).

 

If you have friends who might benefit for this event, especially

men, please let them know about it. Additional men will improve

the gender balance and allow us to let in women hoping to

attend from the waiting list. If you are a spiritually-oriented male,

please consider attending our event (see RSVP info, below).

 

 

Notes: * Registration required so we don't overflow the space (see below

under RSVP).

* This year's event will have a 60's theme (see below), but

dressing up is not required.

for the use of the IMC. For the facilitators, a $10 donation is

suggested, but any amount

is acceptable, and no donation to either basket is required.

finger-food, such as healthy desserts, fruits, or

snacks to share after the program.

 

60's Theme: The IMC will be decorated in a 60's theme, and some of the

attendees

will dress the part (tie dye, . . . ). But many people

will be wearing their

regular attire; dressing for the 60's is not at all a requirement.

 

RSVP: If you show up without registering, you will not be allowed in if

we are full,

as we were last year, with ~75 attending.

* Take Whipple Exit onto Veterans (this points you south).

* Turn RIGHT onto Whipple (west).

* Turn LEFT onto El Camino Real (south).
