Santa Cruz County poultry keepers would like to be able to quickly

construct housing to protect birds from pathogens, such as bird flu,

that can be spread by wild birds. Please take a moment to read about

This site is used by reputable organizations such as Amnesty

International, NARAL Pro-Choice America, Bush GreenWatch, League of

Conservation Voters, and more. If you don't specify that you want to

Remember, if one individual's or farmer's birds in your community

are found to have bird flu, it puts others at risk, due to USDA

policies on culling birds for miles around an outbreak. So it's

everyone's problem, even those with indoor birds. Being proactive

can make a big difference.
