Bay Area Vegetarian's monthly Bay Leaf Cafe Letter Writing Party is a low-key

and food-filled

animal advocacy event. Over some of the best veg food in the area, we will write

for

compassion over cruelty. In letters to businesses, elected officials, and

newspaper editors, we

will advocate for the most afflicted and defenseless creatures of our world.

 

Novices, gurus, guvices, omnivores and omnivegans are all welcome. I will bring

issues to

discuss and write about, and you should feel free to share any topics that you

care strongly

about.

Bay Area Vegetarians also holds letter writing parties in Berkeley and San
