Hi, I'm Laurie. If you are a warm, quiet, clean person who values silence and

open, respectful communication...and you are conscious about using nontoxic

chemicals and minimal fragrances, you will enjoy living in my cozy, peaceful

2BR/2BA condo. The ideal person will be vegetarian (or at least won't cook meat

in the house) and will appreciate living where extra attention is paid to

respecting our space (such as removing shoes). I will show similar consideration

for those things that matter to you.

 

Finding someone I feel comfortable with is most important, so please ask about

anything you see here, and we'll see if we can make it work. You will find me

very flexible and open.

 

* $650 per month plus a flat $50 per month for utilities (gas/electric,

garbage/recycling, water, phone line, Comcast cable and secure wireless

Internet). Deposit negotiable.

* Rent includes distilled drinking water stored in glass.

* Room is currently furnished with a single bed, a nightstand, a bookshelf, a

nice, spacious computer desk, and shelving in the mirrored closet. I can remove

some or all of the furniture if necessary.

* Month to month okay.

* Private full bathroom with tub and shower.

* Some storage available.

* Peaceful neighborhood: Few children, quiet pets, I never hear my upstairs

neighbor.

* Washer/dryer in home. Share refrigerator. No microwave.

* Pool & hot tub.

* Plenty of off-street parking available inside the complex.

* Walking distance to Light Rail, Caltrain. 1 minute to 280 and 87. 3 miles

minutes to downtown SJ/SJSU. 10 minutes to SCU.

 

YOU:

- Very clean, neat, and quiet. Responsible, mature, kind, honest, conscious

communicator.

- Little or no cooking; definitely no frying and no meat.

- No smoke/alcohol/drugs.

- Only nontoxic, unscented cleaning chemicals; minimal or no fragrances or

scented household/personal products.

 

ME:

- 42 years young. Friendly. Professional. Open-hearted and open-minded. Fair and

compassionate. Easy to talk to.

- I am a freelance editor who works at all hours from home...so quiet is

essential. I do watch a movie in the living room from time to time, but TV and

radio are rare in this house.

- I also write/research/teach on topics of whole, raw plant-based nutrition and

health creation through healthful living. (I have great enthusiasm but zero

desire to pester or convert!)
