Guest guest
Hey everyone, You may want to check this out: http://peninsulamacro.org/ Just when I thought myself incredibly hip on the local vegan scene, I was incredibly wrong. It turns out that The Peninsula Macrobiotic Community holds vegan dinners every Monday evening in Palo Alto, open to the public. I dined with them last night, and the food was amazing. Of much lesser importance, the people (60 in all!), were quite friendly. This feast made thanksgiving look like a midnight snack. So maybe that's a bit of hyperbole, but take a look at the menu for their next dinner on January 9. Dulse and Sunchoke Chowder Quinoa and Veggie Skillet Bread Savory Black-eyed Pea Stew Simmered Collard Greens Carrot and Cabbage Slaw Roasted Barley Tea Peanuty Peanut Butter Cookies Peace, Ben Davidow
