Last minute reminder to advocate for animals at the LWP in Palo Alto (7/23 at 7:30pm)

If you haven't already made plans for tonight, please devote a couple of hours

to standing up for animals.

 

Join me for my first time hosting on behalf of Bay Area Vegetarians as we write

letters to the editor, letters to state, county, and federal legislators and

officials encouraging compassion to animals, etc. We will be a voice for the

voiceless with our personal, handwritten, high-impact letters. This is a monthly

event usually on the 4th Saturday.

 

It's helpful if you can bring:

-pen and paper

-envelopes

--name of your State & Federal legislators (find them at:

http://www.vote-smart.org/)

-veg or animal rights topics to write on (or use the ones we provide)

 

We will be meeting at the BayLeaf Cafe, a charming vegan/organic cafe in

downtown Palo Alto from 7:30pm-9:30 pm. They serve MaggieMudd's vegan ice cream

(the Peanut Butter Palooka is my favorite) and other yummy desserts.
