Guest guest
We use copper tape, which gives them a little (harmless) shock if they walk on it. We have a raised veggie bed and taped it (and secured it with some tacks) all around the perimeter. We had NO problems with snails last year at all. I did something similar in our flower garden, using copper " fencing " and planted it along the perimeter of the garden. Again - no problems. Copper wiring/fencing (when I say " fencing, " I mean a mesh copper that is about 3 inches wide) and tape are available at garden supply stores. Good luck!
