Guest guest Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 Hi everyone, Animal Place, a wonderful farm animal sanctuary in Fairfield, is holding a volunteer orientation for people interested in volunteering there through the summer. I will be attending the first session: Saturday, March 5 12:00-4:00pm It would be great to get a group of South Bay Veggies together to volunteer and I'll be posting the future dates here. If you're interested in joining me, you'll need to register for yourself using the mail-in form here: http://www.animalplace.org/calendar.html Then click on the button on the left side. Since it's only a week away, you should probably mail it in soon. If you can't make it on the 5th, but are interested in volunteering, they have other orientation dates. They also have general tours, cooking classes, and animal info sessions that I'm thinking of checking out. You can see their whole catalog from the above link. I'll be leaving from Santa Clara by 10:30am, so if anyone wants to carpool from anywhere along the way (via the east bay), please respond to me before Friday, March 4 at 5:00pm.
