Free play Tues. Shakespeare in Hollywood in Mountain View

Hi all,

 

It's time for another free TheatreWorks show, this one

in Mountain View at the Center for the Performing Arts

on Castro and Mercy streets, on Tuesday night the 18th

at 8:00 p.m. Plan to get there around 7:15 or 7:30 to

line up for seats.

 

The play is " Shakespeare in Hollywood, " and here's the

TheatreWorks website write-up. Hope you can make it

cigar-chomping producers, fawning yes-men, and ga-ga

columnists collide in a delectable blend of farce,

fact, and fantasy. When filmaker Max Reinhardt's

remake of A Midsummer Night's Dream loses its leading

men, a flash of madcap magic allows Shakespeare's

Oberon and Puck to play themselves on the silver

screen. Hilarious, to say the least, this showbiz
