December Silicon Veggie Article in the Metro

My December column in the Metro has been posted:

I have to give my editor credit. This column was assigned and originally

described as a

Dining Out/Restaurant Review type of column. But this month I didn't talk about

dining out

at all, but rather how we take care of some animals, while we eat others.

 

I sent it to my editor, and offered to quickly write a more dining-out-specific

article if she

didn't think this was one was appropriate, but she liked it and said the column

was

supposed to provide " food for thought. "
