Guest guest
Hi theatre goers and play enjoyers, Tuesday night is coming upon us once again for the free ($0) dress rehearsal performace of " Living Out " which promises to be, in the words of the Los Angeles Times " Poignant and outrageously funny. " Show at 8. Doors at 7? Meet up somehow inside the theatre at around 7:15 or 7:30. First in line gets seats first. Theatre in on Castro St. in Mountain View at the Center for the Performing Arts at Mercy cross-street. Here's the gist of the play from theatreworks.org: Who cares for the kids while you make a living? When a Latin American immigrant with children of her own signs on as nanny for a have-it-all power lawyer, both caring mothers must struggle to find common ground across a vast cultural divide. Acclaimed in both New York and Los Angeles, this crisply satiric but ultimately sympathetic new play offers an hilarious, heart-wrenching vision of the American dream, finding no easy answers to the dilemmas of parenting in frazzled times. Contains mature language. Hope to see you there. I'm 5'6 " (ok 5'5 1/2 " ) dark brown hair, answers to Mike or Michael. I'll probably be wearing an izod (remember the alligator?) type shirt (sans alligator). RSVPs welcome, and hopefully we can all sit together. These plays are very good -- hope to see you there, I know you'll enjoy the time well spent -- just tape the debate and watch it later.
