Hello everyone,

Wildlife Awareness Day at the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley is this Saturday, June 12. The address is 3027 Penitencia Creek Road, Sam Jose.

The Wildlife Center is a rehabiliation and release facility where I have been volunteering for several years now. See www.wcsv.org for more information.

Join us at the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley on Saturday, June 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Penitencia Creek Park , 3027 Penitencia Creek Road , San Jose to learn about our backyard wildlife and how to help it thrive. There will be children’s activities, booths, advice tables and live educational animal presentations running throughout the day.  Admission is free, but please bring a spring wildlife “baby shower†item such as unscented facial tissue, paper towels, sunflower seeds, walnuts in the shell, Feline Maintenance Science Diet (dry) or Purina Cat Chow. Our backyard babies will thank you for it! Here's a map!

Just a reminder.

I will personally be there until probably around 12:30.

It's a great day - please come and show your support for our local wildlife!
