Hi folks,

 

I just wanted to encourage you to attend EarthSave Bay Area's San Jose lecture “Exposing Nutrition Myths” featuring Brenda Davis, RD, author of the international best seller “Becoming Vegetarian”, and “Becoming Vegan,” and “Defeating Diabetes.” Brenda’s nutrition knowledge is amazing and her information is always cutting edge. There will also be a question and answer period following the lecture.

 

This is only our second month of offering events in San Jose and our RSVP list thus far is small, so you’ll have lots of time to ask Brenda questions. Still, we’d like to tempt a few more of you with delicious food...

International Vegetarian House has created a special menu just for us, including an appetizer not available on their regular menu.

 

Appetizer:

House Special Formosa Vegetable Roll- a customer favorite, but no longer on their regular menu because it takes awhile to prepare

 

Soup:

International House Vegetable Soup – seaweed, bean curd rolls, and lots of veggies

 

Main dishes:

Grilled Eggplant and Tofu in brown sauce –and-

Stir-fried Broccoli and Shitake Mushroom

 

The fee for the entire evening (dinner, lecture, tax and tip are all included) is $15 for EarthSave members and $18 for nonmembers.
