Guest guest
Hi South Bay Veg friends! March 20th is the annual Great American Meat-Out, the opportunity to tell our friends, family, co-workers and community about the wonderful reasons to meat-out! Bay Area Vegetarians is celebrating Meat-Out with the following advocacy events: 3/17 - SF - Monthly Leafletting at Academy of Arts Collegehttp://www.bayareaveg.org/events.php#247 3/20 - SF - Powell Street/Union Square leafletting http://www.bayareaveg.org/events.php#256 4/1 - SF - Dinner & Screening of "The Emotional World of Farm Animals" http://www.bayareaveg.org/events.php#250http://www.bayareaveg.org/events.php#251 The film is a great opportunity to introduce your non-veg family and friends to animals. There is no graphic footage. It is a "soft sell" on why animals are friends, not food. 4/3 - SF - AR 101 workshop http://www.generationv.org/cl Gather up your friends and carpool to this introductory course on animal rights! And, of course, we also have our regular monthly dinners in Oakland (3rd Sunday), SF (2nd Wednesday & Last Thursday), and Palo Alto (2nd Tuesday). Visit our event calendar at http://www.BayAreaVeg.org/events.php We encourage you to join us, and bring your veg & non-veg family & friends, too! Cheers, Tammy & Chris Bay Area Vegetarians
